About Michele

Michele Mancini Benton is a multifaceted artist whose vibrant paintings have been collected across the United States and Great Britain. Based in Upstate New York, she is known for large, colorful abstract pop works and for her highly detailed hand-painted jackets worn by MLB, NFL, NBA, and NCAA families and athletes.

Most recently, her custom hand-painted LSU pantsuit worn by Coach Kim Mulkey during a nationally televised prime-time women’s college basketball broadcast marked a defining moment for the brand, bringing her work to a national audience.

A two-time Scholastic Gold Key recipient in high school, Michele set art aside to pursue Division I basketball at Colgate University. After graduation, she signed a professional contract to play in Luxembourg. Upon returning to the United States, she transitioned into the corporate world before ultimately stepping away to raise her family — reigniting her passion for art in 2016 and building the brand that now blends her love of sport, history, and bold visual storytelling.
