Collection: LOVE FROM SARATOGA

My equine collection is inspired by the horses, history, and unforgettable moments that make thoroughbred racing so special.

As both an artist and a longtime racing fan, I’m drawn to more than the finish line. I love the stories—the legendary horses, defining races, rivalries, and moments that become part of racing history. Saratoga holds a special place in that story, and many of the horses and moments I’ve painted have a connection to the historic track.

From my original magazine-cover series celebrating champions like Point Given, to more recent paintings capturing Rachel Alexandra’s unforgettable Woodward and the Ortiz brothers battling to the finish in Golden Moment, each piece begins with a story I want to preserve in paint.

My style combines bold contemporary colors, dramatic black and white, and hand-applied gold or silver leaf to give these historic moments a modern life.

For me, these paintings aren’t simply portraits of racehorses. They’re paintings of the moments racing fans never forget.
